I don't currently donate to any organization, but I'm caring for my husband who is an insulin dependent diabetic, and I hope that there is a cure for diabetes in his lifetime.

I support charities for veterans, Goodwill, Salvation Army, St. Jude and breast cancer. My Mother is a breast cancer survivor.

I support the pregnancy resource center. They help women by giving them a free pregnancy test. They help women in job-finding and other necessary training in order to make a life for them and their baby. They give women clothing, baby items, blankets, baby toys, etc. And it's all FREE!

I support organizations that preserve civil liberties for people even when I don't agree with them - specifically the ACLU and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

I support Locks of Love. I think it is wonderful what they do. I just donated 13 inches of hair to them last month.

I am a member od Chosen 300. This is an organization that feeds the homeless in Philadelphia. I do this the first Monday of every month and I love it! It is great to know that I am helping the homeless!

I only donate to my church.

I help the elderly, special needs, mothers needing a sitter, others with food-cooked or strate from the store along with clothes. Money or food from the restarunt for the homeless,even a hug or an ear with advice to a child and up.I aiso helped the food bank,shcools,and other community activities.

I hae a cousin that has cystic fibroses, he is now 6 years old, lives in Goreville, Illinois and he and his mom and dad, have made many trips to St. Louis with him. Whene ver he gets a cold or has trouble, off they go. Also, I have a pacemaker, the manufacturer? is St. Judes, Thanks to it I am still here!

I support my local United Way. They provide services for local people in need, whether it be for shelter, food, or other everyday needs. I can see my contributions at work in my community

I support charities for veterans of the armed forces of the United States because I have a close friend who is a disabled Army veteran and they are always trying to shortchange them. I also support groups that help homeless animals.

I support the Salvation Army. My daddy used to talk about how the Red Cross had doughnuts and hot coffee, way back , but not where it was really needed. USO was alright - where it was safe, but the men from the Salvation Army, while they didn't fight, did their part of the war in their own way. He told about how they would belly crawl to the foxholes and trenches to deliver hot coffee, cigarettes, etc. He had seen some give his own life trying to help a soldier. I have never heard of the Red Cross helping anyone.

Race for the cure! I would love it if a cure for breast cancer is found in my lifetime!!! =)

The Institute for Justice is on the front lines in fighting the abuse of eminent domain (government taking property from people against their will), and for small business owners to be able to operate without excessive regulation and licensing burdens. They truly do stand up for the "little guy".

I support the local food banks - remember this Saturday, May 9, the postal service will pick up food when they deliver your mail. Leave whatever you can by your mailbox. We also support the Humane Society and the local rescue squad. Through our church we help Habitat for Humanity, soldiers serving overseas, and direct help for emergencies in our community.

I give to whoever asks me when I have anything left over after bills and groceries. If I had the money to contribute regularly I would choose the humane society and the rescue squad and would continue to make occasional contributions to several other charities.

this place is against abortion and shows family's and women that their are other ways to get through their tough times without abortion. They help with keeping your baby, giving it up for adaption, or foster care. They give people money, free doctor visits, therapy, baby clothes... what ever you need

I regularly donate to the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). My husband is a military retiree and while he was stationed overseas, he was never overseas during a conflict. He wads very lucky. Some of the men and women who willingly sacrafice their time and energy to keep our country safe pay the ultimate price. But then there are those who have severe injuries to the head, neck, or back and end up paralyzed. This charity helps support these brave Soldiers, Marines, and Airmen by providing things like power wheelchairs, prosthetics, and financial support.

I worked for St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. I believe they give 75% for the children. That's pretty good when other well-known charities only get 10%. The louder their noise, the less money the people get, usually.

I support several charities; for animals, children. My biggest one that I personally work for is the March of Dimes. Every one of us was born a baby. You can't get around that. My own birth was very difficult and still has lasting effects. We need to ensure all babies are born full term and healthy and we need to remember that these children will be the leaders of our tomorrow. The MOD not only wants them brought into the world healthy but they support the NICUs, the nurses and doctors in the hospital with courses, research, Therapy units and children's hospitals and the Ronald McDonald homes nearby the hospitals for the families to stay at.

I SUPPORT CHRISTIAN MINISTY AND FEED THE CHILDREN WHEN I AM ABLE AND I WANT TO SEE SOULS SAVED FOR CHRIST AND HELP HUNGRY ADULTS WITH CHILDREN IN AMERICA AS I KNOW MY MONEY GOES TO GOOD CAUSES.

I choose to support many local service groups where I live, especially Alcoholics Annonymous of which I am an active member. We help anyone anywhere without exception. It works!!!

I donated my hair to Locks of Love for children who need wigs because of chemo treatments or other diseases. I have also donated time and money to the Front Range Center for Assault Prevention and the Child Assault Prevention (CAP) Project. It is a wonderful non-profit that educates adults and their children about bully assault, stranger abduction and sexual assault prevention. Their workshops teach preschool through high school children as well as caregivers and teachers/school staff!! I have also donated money to St. Jude's Children's Hospital because of the wonderful free services they give to children with life-threatening diseases and their families. We donate clothing, used items around our household that are still useful, food and money to local charities as well.

the salavation army because its so nice to be able to help out casue as bad as you think you might have it there some who have it so much worser and its a blessing from the creator to be able to give back. also the disable veterans association because my heart goes out to able to do anything helpful for the men who fight for our country. the american red cross because if you have ever been (and i hope that anyone never has to experience it) in a disaster the american red cross is always there to help out and they are truly appreciated. the brotherhood mission because sometimes people need a helping hand when they are trying to deal with problems in their life.

We Support the Lighthouse Assocations for the help keep the lighthouses in working order. They also take care of the run down one and get them in working order. Lighthouses are an important part of history that people don't even know about. The lighthouses in GA have an amazing histroy. Tybee Island Lighthouse has had to be built 4 times and was built when Olgethrope came to GA.

Best Friends Animal Society, Kanab, Utah I have toured their 350 acre refuge for all types of animals. They are given beautiful habitats that fit they needs, there is a hospital on the property to give them excellent care and restoration. It is a no kill organization with a loving and caring staff plus volunteers to give these precious animals back their lives. The public can tour the grounds on a bus tour that is provided for a nominal fee. It is a spectacular place to visit and wonderful for the animals.

i support charities for animals because i love humanity but aniamls are helpless and arent able to ask for help or tell people they hurt or need someone to take care of them. there are so many animals who help humans like dogs for the blind or people with challenging disabilities and the police and fire dogs and animals that give to people who need comfort and unconditonal love, there are ones who help the farmers and animals who help with eggs and cheese and milk without having to be killed to help.they dont understand why humans try to hurt them or kill them. they are always there when everyone else desserts you ready to give you love no matter what you look like or how you talk or maybe not as smart as someone else always there if you are lonely and best of all they are wonderful listeners for anything at all you need to talk about and they dont hate you or dessert you because they dont like what you said or did, they accept everyone, why cant everyone accept them?

I donate time and money to theDream Foundation to help dying adults get their last wish. Terminally ill people get their last wish to try and make hte end a little better. I tried to find funds locally when my husband was dying for the sake of the children and failed. I wish I had known about The Dream Foundation

.We support our local Food Bank, Children-Related Charities and our Church which is active in supporting local, national and foreign missions. We like to give to all volunteer groups rather than those charity groups which employ their people making the phone calls.

I support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I thank God I have been blessed with two healthy sons and can only imagine the heartache families with sick children must endure. The hospital shares it's research with other hospitals and makes care available regardless of financial ability. Through their research they have made major strides in the cure and treatment of childhood cancers. I'm proud to be a "partner in hope".

Money is tight, but I usually give to St. Jude, Disabled American Veterens, Native American Indians and religious organizations. Every little bit helps and I wish I could help more.

Isabella CO Animal Control/H.A.T.S./MidMichigan Adopt-A-Pet , Mount Pleasant, MI - The best municipal animal shelter I have ever been to. Animals are socialized, well cared for, low-kill facility, pets are given lot more time to find homes than required by law, & adoption fee is VERY reasonable. Planned Parenthood - every child should come into this world loved by their parents. I'm pro QUALITY of life. RALLY FOR THE CURE - In the few short years my husband and I have lived in the Phoenix area I have met and become friends with so many women who are breast cancer survivors. The attitude and courage these women have is amazing. My husband and I play in 2 Rally For the Cure golf tournaments every year hoping that our donations help toward finding a cure for breast cancer.

My main charity is NC Autism Society, because my son has high functioning Autism. Also to local charities like Angel Tree, local SPCA and many others.

I give to charities that support animals. I love companion animmals like dogs cats and birds. I also support groups that give to veterans. But I believe in hunting and consumption of meat of game animals like deer ducks turkeys etc. I believe that there are too many of these animals and not enough is done to control their population/ I also give to my local parish.

So many charities have high administrative costs so that a relatively small percent of donations go directly to the needy. A high percentage of donations to Salvation Army goes to their needy clientele. So I prefer to donate to them.

He died over 30 years ago and both of his oldest sons were teen idols, so why didn't he already get a star? Many with half his talent have had one.

Salvation Army, United Way, Local animal shelter, Animal Welfare Fund, The Fund for Animals, Disabled Veterans, ASPCA PetSmart Animal Charity. I think those are all of them. I support the animals because they cannot support themselves. The United Way does a lot of good work in our community. As does the Salvation Army. Our veterans do not get the help or respect they need and deserve. We wouldn't be here if not for our soldiers. God bless them and their families.

Local small animal shelters / they are no kill shelters and the county murders all cats most of the time

I give of my time, my talents, and money to my church, I also donate blankets and other items that I have knitted to a local veteran's hospital and to a crisis pregnancy center. We donate unneeded items to the Idaho Youth Ranch, and the Ark (another used clothing/furnishing store). We donate to the Red Cross, and other charities if they are going door to door or we see them in public places - like the Red Cross bell ringers. We do this to support causes that we believe in and to help those who a are little more helpless than we are. We avoid giving to organizations that mail things to us - it feels too much like expensive junk mail when they are begging for money every month instead of using that money for their cause.

I support the Children's Make a Wish Foundation....After watching some children in my community suffer from life threatening illnesses, its nice to see them and their families enjoying a maybe one last holiday together, and to see a smile on their face.

I try to donate to the veterns and to the breast cancer research when I can. I'm also a memebr of our local freecycle group which helps people with little or no money aquire things they need and helps those looking to give things away to those in the community who are in need.

We donate to local needs. Christmas gifts for needy, food for the local shelter, missions at our church and other youth charities that we have known. We have bought meals for others. Where we see the need,if we can provide we try to help out.

Avon Walk for Breat Cancer - we need to find a cure! I am doing one of the walks to raise as much as I can to help the research and support for those that can not afford it.

We give to a lot of things throughout the year. Whenever a store is selling the $1 things to raise money for health or children's causes, we buy them, we give to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society every year because my brother in law died of non hodgkins lymphoma, age 47, leaving behind his wife and young daughter, we give to the Idol gives back each year, relay for life, Susan Komen, Children's hospitals, local women's shelter and food kitchens. There are so many little ways to help even when you don't have much to give. Our local grocery stores sell

I steadily support NAMI (National Alliance for the mentally Ill), because bipolar disorder runs in our family. Besides this, every year I support an other additional organization: animal rescue (because I love animals), KPBS (unbiased public broadcasting), the university that my daughter attended (they gave her a scholarship), my alma mater (they gave me a scholarship), disaster relief (acquaintance suffered due to a local wildfire), our local ethnic club (I belong). I also donate books to inmates in the local prison.

I support the American Diabetes Association because it affects me and so many of my friends and family.
