Getting together at 2 family reunions - both sides of the family - and visiting with relatives. I also took a Haunted Tour of old Fort Wayne in Detroit on a Saturday night which was really fun. Another mini-trip was to Traverse City, then to see the Gwen Frostik house and view her paintings and natural habitat.

Spending time outdoors with my wife and children.

spend a day going to the with my husband; we got to feed some of the animals there. We went too trek fest.

My oldest Grandson went in to remission from cancer.

Spent the summer searching for the meaning of life finding it in our Lord Jesus Christ and than getting the pleasure of introducing my 3 year old grandson to Jesus. My life will only get better now! Praise The Lord!

My husband and I rode 12,000 miles on our motorcycle. We took the back roads and saw so much beauty in this country that we were overwhelmed. We ate at the small diners along the way and met some very interesting people. Everyone has a story to tell. What a summer!!!

The hightlight of my Summer was having barbeques with our friends and having them come over for a visit and barbeque. I also spent my time with my mother.

HELPING MY SISTER PLAN A WONDERFUL, EARLY BABY SHOWER ( TO ACCOMADATE FAMILY FROM OUT OF TOWN )FOR HER DAUGHTER ( MY NIECE ) IN THE PARK. WE'VE HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL SUMMER HERE IN ST. LOUIS, THE PARK WAS THE PERFECT PLACE; AS WE HAD A # OF LITTLE ONES THAT HAD A BALL AT THE PLAYGROUND. WHICH WE WERE RIGHT NEXT TO :). ANYWAY, MY NIECES' FRIENDS AND FAMILY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT SHE GOT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING FOR HER NEW LITTLE BOY. ANTHONY IS DUE ON X-MAS DAY :)!!! Meeting new people and making friends and seeing old ones at my new part time job as a Greeter at Meijer.

On the week of the 4th of July, my at the time fiancee went to Washington D.C. for me to meet my future family! Then on 9-07-09 I had a magical wedding in a local park surrounded my friends and family.

The highlight of my summer was taking the grandchildren to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown and letting them have a hands-on experience of American history.

Camping, camping, and more camping. Oh, did I say we got to get out of the "Dirty City" and go camping?

I have MS and have to stay out of the heat. But this summer was more mild than usual and I was actually able to be outside a little bit more than usual :) So I guess just that is a highlight for me.

I traveled spain for two weeks with a group of students from oregon and michigan. i went to Madrid, Segovia, Toledo, Granada, Sevilla, San Fernando, Jerez, and Cadiz.

finally got a job an its working at a gentleman club...

I celebratd my 45th class reunion frm Henderson County High Scool class of 1964! It was wonderful we had 92 total and it was a wodnerful time for all!

Took a cruise to Prince Edward Islands and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Very beautiful places with kind, gentle people.

the best highlight from this past summer was spendingthe entire day with my nieces and rest of the family, we had a cookout at my sisters home and it was awesome. there was plenty of great food and even more laughs and smiles, it was just a truly wonderful day

My boyfriend threw me a bash of a Birtday Party, it was off the chain!!!

Watching my baby girl grow into a toddler, walking, talking, running, playing and being with her two cousins learning all she can from a 2 and 4 year old. I was wanting to freeze time, children are so amazing.

Completing a vacation..... Was there something else to do, during an otherwise boring as something or other month?

not really much different then winter or any other season for me.

Finally getting in a good summer vacation, and spending time with friends and family.

I dont children, but my husband started graduate school, after many years not going to school, so is kind of go back to school!

The highlight of my summer was going to the Iowa State Fair here in Des Moines, Iowa.

My highlight of summer is that it's almost over. I hate summer and am looking forward to winter. I hope we get lots of snow, but I know that won't happen because where I live we never get much.

Summer is just starting here on the North Coast!

Reuniting with an old friend and shortly after wards we started dating. Which led to romance and a lot of steamy nights in bed.

Well summer is over but my hilight will be next week when i go on my 8 day Carribban cruise

My highlight is 2 fold. I finally got out of an abusive relationship and I moved into my daughter's home and we have managed to renew our relationship. It was a wonderful summer.

There are two parts to my summer highlights, one was me landing a job after almost a year out of work. The second part was picking my 12year old daughter up at the airport after she had been in Michigan visiting my parents for a month.

knowing the kids are back in school, knowing that they have made it to the next level!! hurray!

My husband getting called back to work after being laid off more than 34 weeks in the past 12 months and then not getting laid off again after only a month back at work in order to make way for a foreman from another job who's had steady work; my husband would have been sent home but for the fact the steadily working foreman refused to take the job if they weren't going to pay him foreman's scale.

The highlight was our annual family reunion. We still have 2 uncles (age 90 and 87) and 1 aunt (age 85) living and able to come for the festivities. We're so blessed to have them with us, to share memories of our grandparents and life in the early 1900s.

The highlight of my summer was buying a house. We moved in during the summer.

The highlight of my summer was having my Grandchildren visit for a week from Washington, D.C. I hadn't seen them for three years. It was marvelous. It was great to see how much they had grown, but sad to see how much I had missed in three years.

taking walks in the park, cookouts and sitting out on the steps late-night.

The highlight was a Quilt Shop Hop in Arkansas. Three of us went to 11 different stores, spent the night in Mt. View in a cabin with a tin roof and there was a rain storm. Really something hearing the rain plus think there was some hail even. Lots of car riding but was fun.

Hurrah, cooler weather here in south Texas after unusual 55+ days over 100+.

didn't do much this summer[lack of funds] but i always enjoy the summer when my son joseph is home from school. going to the the beach, taking a bike ride or just hanging out, i love having him home with me. it just goes too fast!!!!

Husband took me to my first medievial faire as a surprise gift for my Birthday. We had never been to one and we enjoyed it and plan to go to another one next year.

My wife became pregnant late spring. And we recently found out the sex of the baby. I'm extremely excited and cant wait.

Just enjoy getting together with the family and taking a trip. We went to Myrtle Beach this summer.

I look forward for the family getting together. We went to Myrtle Beach and that was fantastic.

Nothing much,been home with my kid

A cruise to the Baltic Area and a couple days in London.

Going to Savannah,GA--------what a lovely city. It has many very beautiful homes, and so much historical significance for our country. And being able to share this vacation with members of my family made it all the more poignant!

The highlight of my summer was going to a Wallflowers concert. It was fun :)

I grew and ate some outstanding tomatoes and hot peppers.

Taking the kids to Buffalo, NY to visit the Buffalo Zoo, catching a pre-season NFL game with Chicago Bears vs. Buffalo Bills. Riding on the Maid of the Mist to get a close up view of Niagara Falls both American and Canadian sides. Being able to watch the kids enjoyment of getting a little wet from the mist!

Took my kids camping for the first time. I grew up camping in the Blue Ridge with my family, and this time I took my own family. The kids loved it and keep asking when we are going again.

SPEPNT A WEEK IN YOSEMITE AS WE HAVE FOR THE LAST 26 YEARS OF OUR FAMILY LIFE...BUT THIS WAS BITTER SWEET..OUR YOUNGEST JUST GRADUATED THIS YEAR AND NOW ALL MY KIDS ARE OFF TO COLLEGE...

State Fair - I look forward to it every year. Each year we take one of the grandchildren... so much fun!!!!

The best thing about this summer was getting rid of my neck and shoulder pain. I was in an accident and needed to have 4 vertebrae fused in my neck. The surgery in June went well and now I feel great!

The best thing about summer was the lack of alot of heat and humidity.

The highlight of any summer for me is when it is finally over. I hate sun and heat and how people act during the summer season.

Getting together with family members over Labor Day Weekend. Children, grandchildren etc sort of our little family reunion. Loved every day of it!!!

Going to the beach with the kids, it was great.

Went on vacation went to all the western state's an in the middle of it all made a surprise visit to my neice in Roswell NM, that made my summer she was so happy to see family that when we had to leave we all cried it was good.

My friend took me and my kids to SeaWorld since my husband lost his job. It was the first time my kids and I had been there and they loved it. I got to meet a friend there who I'd talked with online for years but never met in person before. That was awesome.

Turning 49 and taking a Whitewater paddling vacation - class 3- class 6 - 4 days of rivers in NC and TN and being very thankful I could do it sucessfully when 5 yrs ago - I had the highest Asthmia classification and could not leave the house - due to ot being able to breathe - discovered it was the result of a severe dairy allergy --- this trip make me realise God gave me my life back....... way too cool.

the highlight of my summer has been spending time with my four nieces. They are 10, 11, 7, and 16. they are so much fun to be around and make me feel loved as much as I love them.

My summers not over. Now that your kids are back in school I get to have fun. My big vacation will be 3 nights in N.y. City, fly to Rome , board Carnival's Dream (newest ship- 3rd sailing) for 12 days, return to Rome for 3 nights , then come back home! There were 6 other small trips from Feb till now. None more anticipated then this one.

My highlight was from being homeless to turning my life around and getting back to school for massage therapy and finding real true people to take me in their home even knowing I don't have a job. I a m very grateful for them and everything so far.

The highlight of my summer was going to NC for my niece's wedding. It was great seeing a lot of relatives that I don't get to see very often. I stayed with my sister & had a great time. Wish I could have stayed longer.

I live on Lake Livingston in Texas and have had a great holiday season this year. I fish, ride PwCs and do many things on the lake. It is a holiday all the time.

I totally injoyed it with all the children beach's and lake's and park's and sports great summer...........The best part was castaway bay and ceader point for 4 day's kids had a blast.

Got up off my bum and reapplied to college. I was too young then but now I AM UNSTOPPABLE!

My highlight was spending a few days in Gulf Shores, Alabama with my family.
