In my younger years. I would have said have a goal and work towards it. Six years of retirement has changed my perspective. Today, it is more of an inward process because I have learned money is not the measure of success, volunteer work is so much more satisfying ... it is truly appreciated! It keeps me productive and I'm happy; that is sucess!

A sucessful marriage/relationship starts with upmost respect for another. This attitude will work for any area in your life. Another rule for sucess is alway start your day with a smile & good attitude; if you can not do this then you should go back to bed because no one needs/wants to deal with you.

It's simple. Do things even if your not happy about it as a kind gesture to someone in need and do it with no strings attched. Never expect something from someone just because you did something from them. Do it to be kind and a good person, and it will always come back to you in little ways. Always be thankful. Success does not JUST have to do with money. It is how full you can make your life by surrounding yourself with loved ones.

Learn to do the things you really do not want to do.

Keep at it with a positive attitude & don't let anyone bring you down or tell you their opinions that might bring you down.YOU CAN DO IT!Your never to old,just think about it,keep learning,investing,building,& so on.If your young,life goes to fast.Start doing something now with it,even if you don't think you can afford it,beg,borrow,or steal,as life goes on you will have success & be comfortable.Take a chance.

Always shoot for the stars! Put your best foot forward with a positive outlook. Sometimes this can be hard. But always give your best, even to the smallest task. If you have a family, involve them in your life and enjoy then to the fullest. My rule is to be thankful for what I have been blessed with because I can always look around and see those who have much less.

Outstanding leaders go out of their way to boost the self-esteem of their personnel. If people believe in themselves, it's amazing what they can accomplish.

Set a goal/objective early in life and keep it in mind in all that you do. This will guarantee success in both your personal and spiritual life. (It's okay to adjust once or twice, as you grow and learn new things, just don't make a career out of it.)

I feel that everybody is trying to get to the same place in there lives,being the best mother,the best employee,or mainly just a sincere loving, kind of person. We all have paths that we have chosen to follow, some good and surely some bad.It's really comes down to if we get back up and dust off and start down a new path full of calmer waters.You are responisible for makeing yourself happy,secure and loving.Nobody else knows what's in your heart or understands your soul better than you do.Stand up and show everybody just what your made of and everybody around you will respect and enjoy being around you.

Don't let your paycheck define your success. True success is loving what you do, who you are and your family and friends ( not necessarily in that order!)

I've never been successful, so I can't really say anything about success, but if it were to happen, it would probably have to be because I did things my OWN way by my own rules and never took things for granted.

Sorry to say but honesty seems to NOT be the best policy, it seems the more dishonest you are in America the more successful you will be. Every business I deal with is as crooked as the day is long.

The best advice I ever had was to accept all assignments and treat them as if they were the most important ones in the corporation. Do them quickly and to the best of your ability. Ask for advice when necessary and treat all above you AND beneath you with the same dignity and courtesy.

Do random acts of kindness ~ Pay someones grocery bill and don't let them know you did it ~ Fill the persons gas tank thats behind you ~ When we do things like that and just want to please or help someone else you are pleasing GOD

My #1 Rule for Success is to keep trying. The only way we can accomplish anything of any depth is to keep trying, no matter how many times we fail. It is important to keep moving and keep trying to succeed in any part of life.
