True success comes with doing your best to be a positive influence in any situation. That positive influence is shown through having an open mind to any and all possibilities in life whether physical, mental or spiritual. Having the dignity and respect towards fellow man to walk away from any scenario knowing that you left those behind feeling as you would want to feel is the true mark of success. Success isn't money, nor social status or even "winning the game." Success is ending each day knowing that you truly embraced not only what makes you who you are but that you've embraced others for who they are.

In my younger years. I would have said have a goal and work towards it. Six years of retirement has changed my perspective. Today, it is more of an inward process because I have learned money is not the measure of success, volunteer work is so much more satisfying ... it is truly appreciated! It keeps me productive and I'm happy; that is sucess!

Treat people the same way that you'd like to be treated. I think if people truly did that, the'd feel better about themselves. It's a beautiful feeling inside when you treat someone else great. God wants us to show kindness to everyone. Race, religion, sexual orientation shouldn't stop people from being good to each other. All I'm saying is let's just love one another. Thank You.

My rule for success is having some sort of plan and preparation. Also giving your best shot. Even if you don't come out on top, to me you are still successful because you gave your best and that's success to me.

I may not have much money, but I count myself as successful. I eat when I'm hungry, I sleepy when I'm sleepy, and have plenty of things to do. As the saying goes: A roof over your head, clothes on your back, and food in your stomach, for what more can a man ask, except to have a good night's sleep after a day of work!

If things are going bad remember tommorw is a new day. Have faith in yourself. you are stronger than you think you are. Keep on trying and try again always have hope and always believe in yourself. Everybody has something special to give and love yourself and then you can love others and always say a prayer God does listen to all of us.

I always remind myself that things could be a lot worse.

Give help where help is needed. You never know when the favor will be returned. It may be just when you need it most.

Marry the right person. This one decision will determine 90% of your happiness or misery.

My #1 Rule for Success is to keep trying. The only way we can accomplish anything of any depth is to keep trying, no matter how many times we fail. It is important to keep moving and keep trying to succeed in any part of life.

Do your best, keep on task, don't dilly dally, don't stray. Try your hardest and best in everything you do. Keep in mind that someone is paying you to do a job. There are many other people out there who are capable of doing your job, you can be replaced, so do your absolute best and you will succeed.
