I want to get something meaningfull and needed and she just wants stuff

My friend. She needs soooo much. (Lost her job)

My husband! He goes and buys something if he wants it and leaves nothing for anyone to give him as a gift. MEN!

My teenage granddaughter, she wants clothes, HELP, best bet is a gift certificate is the only safe way out.

Anybody who's so caught up in the material aspect of 'holidays' that they've lost the true meaning and just EXPECT things... becomes a chore to shop, and instead of being received as a 'gift', it's acted as if it was 'owed' to them. We all know those people! :)

My mother-in-law was the hardest one to buy for. She's 89 & says she doesn;t need anything anymore. I did however find her a few things that she can slurge on.

No one. I give lottery tickets.

My mom is so special and I want to buy her everything but she has most it and no room for other things.I think I'm going to give her the diamond ear rings someone gave me for my b-day in October.

Thank goodness I had easy people to shop for this year. All of them are not picky and don't get caught up in the material gifts so it was fun to shop for them. Praise the Lord!!!

I only shop for one person, my closest girlfriend, and she is no trouble at all to shop for. It seems to me if you don't know what to buy for someone, you probably don't know them well enough. We all consume way too much as it is.

No one---I shop year around, so find appropriate gifts for everyone.

i just wanna say i have never gotten anything for Christmas that i wanted or wished for but i have always found it in my heart to give to others that do not have or really wished for something i don't expect anything in return i am truly grateful for my blessing and others should be to that's all i have to say

My son-in-law. He got the usual this year-slippers, jeans, shirt and a Lowes gift card

not really anybody because with this economy everyone can use just about anythibg

My granddaughter, she a tomboy who also like girls things that is not girly.

My middle brother, because he and I are not as close as the others and I don't know what his interests are...

I can usually find nice gifts for my family. I had some difficulty thinking of what to get for Gramma, but my Mom and I managed to get her some nice gifts. I enjoy thinking of thoughtful gifts that I know my loved ones will like.

That would have to be my own son. I mean, shopping for any kid is hard, but my son practically seems to have everything already, so how do you know what to buy him? He's five years old and doesn't really ask for anything, so I have to improvise and come up with things that I know he'll enjoy.

Me! Because I have been wondering if Christmas is a religious celebration or a commercial event? I am not a religious person but this question is on my mind because of the broader implications of the question. Life is to short to derive any meaning or relevance that is not positive, so think about that for Christmas, and New Year, Valentines Day, Ground hog day and all those other days. Keep it simple and be happy that we are fortunate, so fortunate that we can even discuss this question in an open forum. OK, so I do have a Christmas present pick for anyone on your list: pick any good book that deals with "back to basics". Happy Holidays.

Myself - because it will take money away from gifts that I'd like to get for others yet I would truly like to get one nice Computer-Electronics related gift for myself - but computer hardware can be so expensive.

my parents, they have just about everything you could think to get them and they never just come out or subtily say what they would like to have and when you ask them , they got this whatever attitude like they don't care even though they do , so you have to fineese it out of them or play the mindreader game,but believe this, they are waiting to see what you get them, cause you talking about an attitude, get them a whatever gift and see what happens.

The hardest person to buy for in my family is my youngest daughter. She looks down her nose at everything and everyone including me, her mother.

he's at that age that his likes change from day to day. And he spends so much time talking to his friends that he is too tired to talk at home. i guess that's what the problem is. He always comes home and doesn't want to talk about anything or has a "whatever" attitude.

my brother-in-law. He constantly buys stuff for himself, so he has everything!

She is a very caring responsible mother only working part time, but need a full time job and can't fine one.

My daughter, she has so much and she is a little picky.

my boys.. which is ridiculous because anything works for them a newspaper with a pic is fine, i just i place too much expectation on myself really want to get something fun and educational. They been good

I would have to say my wife. One, she doesn't tell me what she wants. I have to guess by what she has purchased in past weeks. Two, she uses the "I don't know!" or the "I don't care! Surprise me!" answers.

Everyone, particularly my husband, because we've been hit so hard by this dismal economy.

My granddaughter. Her tastes and mine aren't the same. I have a tight budget to adhere to. She thinks that money grows on trees.

my husband he is 82 year old and has cancer and it is hard for me to go anywhere to shop

I am the hardest to shop for so I asked my wife to buy me a goat, two chickens, five ducks, and Seed through World Vision and for $147 a village in Columbia will get a gift that will make me very happy!

My teen-aged god-daughter - she gets so many lovely and expensive things from her family's good friends and her grandmother, I'm afraid that what I can afford will seem chintzy and will be unappreciated.

My Husband, He just never wants any gift for any occasion, so I really try to get something he "will" use.

Couldn't shop for anyone due to husbands illness. Just got each of the grand babies a small gift.

Is it really that important that ou buy gifts for Christmas or just get together with those you love?

It hasn't been so much that I had difficulty finding presents for anyone, I usually can find things everyone would like, I am very limited in budget so finding things that are in my price range has been a big challenge this year. I have managed to buy gifts for my grown kids and son in law, though I am still seeking an affordable gift for my husband. He always wants things that are beyond affordability.
